Outdoor
concerts have their own charm. And if they take place in a beautiful location
then it is an icing on cake. The San Diego Symphony Summer Pops are going to
take place on 27th June and will continue till 1st
September, 2013 at the Embarcadero Marina Park South next to San Diego Bay near
downtown San Diego.
Presented
by the San Diego Symphony, the Summer Pops promises 10 weeks of wholesome entertainment
which would feature the San Diego Symphony and other renowned performers such
as Michael Bolton, Amy Grant, Nathan Pacheco, En Vogue, Debbie Gibson and many
more.
The
main conductor of the concerts will be Matthew Garbutt. Various performers will
pay tribute to the Rolling Stones and The Bee Gees.
Apart
from the musical concerts, there would also be Cirque Musica on 16th
and 17th August that is an amalgamation of music, acrobatics and
artistry. Aerialists and acrobats from Cirque du Soleil and Barnum & Bailey
Circus will perform gravity defying stunts.
All
concerts will begin from 7:30pm. You can choose from various seating options
such as grandstand seating which includes fold-down chairs, cabaret tables or general
lawn seating. You can buy food and beverages from the food court.
As
mentioned above, the San Diego Symphony Summer Pops takes place in a beautiful
setting near downtown San Diego. It will give all music lovers an opportunity
to explore the picturesque locales around such as scenic Seaport Village or the
Maritime Museum of San Diego.
